Hi there, I bought my ts about 2 years ago and its been sitting in my shed since, ive just stripped it down to the frame and swing arm, i'll be powdercoating it, i know you are all going to say "wheres the pictures its show and TELL" but i thought I'd make this thread just so I could add to it any time. For anyone conserned whether or not im going to make money off this, i'm not doing it for the money, I just want a nice bike that i can ride.

i would love to hear all your suggestions and comments.

I really need to find someone in the surrey/croydon area who does powder coating and im not sure whether to go blue red, or just plain black, let me know your opinions?

thanks guys, dan

A nicely restored TS125X will be an awesome little bike IMO. So much better and cheaper than an mk1 DT125LC as well.

I'd personally go for classic RM colours of blue frame and accessories with Yellow paintwork, and blue decals and seat. The other colour scheme that was an OE option on these was Blue frame and white bodywork, or light blue frame with black bodywork.

Try to keep it reasonably original looking with regards to plastics, graphics and parts, as that will look best IMO.

nice little bikes these, will make a good project

there were a fair few of them about so parts probably quite cheap. much cheaper than the dt125s of that time which are now getting pricey.

try these guys for powdercoating, not sure how close they are to you ?
