Good day, bought a Skyteam 110 with a lifan 125 engine the other day. Plan to strap it to the back seat of the rf600 and take it to BBQ2.0 for fun in the field, would be nice if it was road legal then too.

Started to have a look at it today. Overall for a 6 year old chinky bike, not too bad at all. Bit of rust on the wheels, exhaust is shockingly thin and there's broken lugs and stuff all over it. No clocks which isn't great for idiot lights. It runs pretty well, started second kick. Steering lock doesn't work, and nor do the brake lights. There seems to be no fusebox in the whole bike, just a main fuse near the starter solenoid

The general plan is to wire the headlight/tailight to always be on when the ignition is running, not worry about the electric start, and indicators only if I can't convince the MOT fellow that it's primarily for off road (pit lane) usage. All the bearings seem fine, and the brakes work. No leaking from fork seals, but I'm not convinced theres any oil in them, but thats not so much of a problem.

So anyways heres the show part.
First, moved the RF and the pondering armchair to the back and organised tools/chucked rubbish into a corner (need a bin and a broom but for now it'll do.

Here's the beast:

Currently sits with the tank and seat and headlight off with all the looms wrap stripped off, but phone battery went.

Going to be working on mine soon Laughing Make sure you have the logbook as most MOT places ask for it due to people pimping them/ringers wet dream.

I need to fix my clutch and its piston?! It has what OORacing call a piston which is broken. Neutral

Got the parts though, running a 140 instead of a 110/125 so would be nice to get out on it with you at some point, we would look royal cunts though.. Laughing

I couldn't imagine riding a mini bike.

I'm 6ft and I doubt I'd fit on one.

I saw one at the lights yesterday, I could only see the blokes head through the car behind him.

But yeah, I guess you can get good filtering on them, but no one will see you.

I'm nearly 6ft and rode one on the road Laughing

Yeah Dumball but OORacing are knobs, they wouldn't let me come down and get 2 very small items.. Reason being their website was next to useless unless you knew part numbers and I had no idea what I was looking at parts wise, "it looks like a top hat" is as much a description I could give.

So yeah... they should really open their doors, get people in..perhaps people will be tempted to buy more Rolling Eyes

I'm 6'1 and fairly broad. It seems okay with me on it.

Progress:
Have stripped the bike down and found all the bulbs to be blown, replaced a couple and magically the electrics seem to work. Battery presumably is fucked as lights only work when the bike is running.

Found a wonderous bodge on the rear light. Attention anyone that uses STINKWHEELS of Romford, also known as Gibson exhausts. I've no problem with bodging things myself but this is a bit retarded:

Got a numberplate and attached it today, added it to my insurance. Just got to fit a couple more bulbs, fir the brake light holder tomorow and take off the battery to charge or replace and then next week MOT.

Hilarious looking thing, could make for some serious lulz

And people moaning about minibike size, bitch please! The first bike I rode was a crappy chinky minimoto and I took it off road by the lakes, was a fucking right laugh

You can imagine how I looked on it, and I look silly on a YBR Razz
