Basically in my little crash the Red screen on my bike snapped in two, so I need a new one.

I'm in two minds as to whether I should buy a new red one or go with the black tint instead... Here are some pics to help you, help me decide.

Well, seeing as it's a white bike, with only white and red decals a black screen would look pretty naff.

Therefore, it has to be either red or clear. Happy now?

Black looks better, I dont really like coloured screens that much. Prefer either clear or black.

If you're going to be doing more track days I'd suggest a clear dubble bubble if they're available.

I'd just stick with the standard clear one (that has a slight scratch)

Think if I was going on a track I'd put my standard screen and can back on to save my expensive double bubble and race can.

Red looks good and is in keeping with the bike, the black would look wrong in my opinion as there is no other black bits on the bike aparts from the tyres....

On fastish tracks a dubble bubble is definitely and advantage probably does account for a couple of extra mph and a bit extra acceleration... but it's annoying if you've got to try and peak through a tinted one.

That's probably more evident on physically larger bikes. On small bikes like my NC30 and RGV the screen is that close to you the bubble doesn't give the air as much extra 'lift' before it hits you.

I'm talking getting /right/ behind it, ie head on tank/yoke etc.

Thus the need for it to be a clear one... all a bit confusing when everything is dark red .

He spent ages looking for a double bubble for that bike, and it seems nowhere does them.

To be honest given how upright the screen is on the CBR250 I would be surprised if a double bubble would make any difference.

Anyway, get a clear screen to go with the unpainted race bodywork and the very large 250 stickers.

I'd tend to agree with Keith. Like the cbr my vfr's standard screen is fairly upright, fairly easy to get down behind if you need to. The double bubble just makes it a bit easier and is more comfortable for longer distance riding.

I have a clear screen already for the track which in future I shall use. I want one that I can use on the road that looks good

I doubt a double bubble for this bike would be easy to get, I shall have a look anyway.

I think red will go best. The black screen really looks dodgy on the colour scheme of the bike.

Go on mike, you know you want a red screen! it's sooooooo much nicer!
