A few years ago I installed a couple of chinese fairing kits for mates and to be honest they were shyte.

After destroying the TL I now need a fairing kit and cant afford a genuine set and cant be arsed to wait for a used one to come up on ebay.
Has anyone bought one in the last 12 months? If so what is the quality like?
Did you get stung for import and VAT?

This is the set im after.

Same seller I got my GSXR750 ones from.

All fit superbly. I had to enlarge 1 hole to mount the screen but it was just too small. like 2mm instead of 3mm, but it was only 1 hole Laughing

One panel did arrive cracked though, fixed it from inside and it was invisible, got £150 refund too. Laughing

Quality, you can feel its not exactly OEM but its very good quality, or at least was in my eyes! Thumbs Up

Didn't get stung for anything VAT / Import costs wise.

No personal experience but I know Peformance Bikes mag rate Auctmart's fairing kits. Mossy on here had some from them for his 916 I think, only one minor fitting issue iirc, otherwise spot-on for the price.

Is the paint quality anywhere near as good as on a 14k Victory bike?
Very Happy

I doubt they've changed much.
While on the subject, I can't find a replacement front mudguard and wondered if they'd sell me just the one from the kit??

I don't suppose they would though Rolling Eyes

I know www.nicecycle.com advertise individual parts on their website - not cheap though, $240-260

I got some Repsol ones from Ebay for my RR. I was impressed with the paint, it's much better than I thought it'd be, i've done a few thousand miles with them on and they're still ok.

Only issue I've had is a weird lineup issue between the tank/side panels, but most of it is down to the RR7s being an utter pain in the arse, even with regular fairings to line up/click in. The plastic is clearly not near the OEM stuff, but it's not bad for the money.
