looking for your opinions on whether my guess is correct or not...

Firstly around a week ago my YBR had decided it didn't want to go into neutral when the engine is warm and running. I have to stall it with the side stand and then go into neutral. It also very occasionally slips out of second gear into neutral when riding. I've never had an isue with it slipping out of any other gear though. Does this suggest my plates are needing replaced?

And just yesterday, with my clutch lever pulled fully in touching the handle bar, it started feeling like it was trying to pull off as if i was sitting at the bite point. Revs dipped from 1.5k down to 1k and it started moving extremely slowly. Am I correct in thinking that a simple adjustment of the cable tension will sort this?

I'm not very mechanically minded, but just to put your mind at ease.
My 61 plate YBR with 1000 miles, occasionally gives a fake neutral.
The green light is on, but it's still in first.
It's why my instructor always referred to the YBR neutral light as the "Idiot light".
Because you're a idiot to trust it.
I learnt the hard way Rolling Eyes

Also has a tendency to jam in one gear (3th or 4th normally), but I think that might be something I'm doing, more than the bikes fault.

I adjusted the cable today but haven't been out for a run yet so haven't been able to test it yet. It has sorted the problem of it trying to pull away with the lever fully depressed though so that's 1 thing gone.
