So, two little chavs just tried to steal my bike from outside my flat. Luckily I managed to shout at them and scare them off. Police were round and this is the second report of this they’ve had in quick succession in this area.

Description – only saw them for a second. 2 people, possibly in bomber jackets. White helmets riding a white vespa-like bike (rear wheel arches cover rear wheels).

Anyway, just thought I’d put it up

Cheers for the heads up, i'll be looking out for them or anyone else for that matter.

Was it more hendon or west hendon and at approx what time of day was this attempt at??

it was hendon central, between the tube and the train station @17:20. dont know the details of the other attempt.

Did you actually call the Police and report it or just mention as they passed?

yeah, called them. only took around 5 mins to come (101, not 999) but they were long gone

wouldn't say so, only 2, shorter than this...at a guess. different bike, different helmets. thing is, they more than likely nicked to scooter they were riding around on
