It's so called "summer" and everyone books their tests around these months.

That and the fact that third directive is coming soon so everyone is taking their tests now.

Bike schools will block book tests for their students too. Book the earliest date you can and then keep checking for cancellations, that may be your best bet?

As Said Schools block book test apointments; if you are desperate for a date in a hurry, may be worth calling round a few, seing what they can do.

Will probably mean paying for an accompanied test lesson, and almost certainly an 'admin' charge. So, perhaps £60 for the pre-lesson & an extra £10 for the Mod 1, an extra £25 for the Mod 2.

Up to you whether that 'premium' is worth an earlier date.

Alternatively; investigate other test centers.

DSA are running a 6 week 'average' Mod 2 waiting list at the mo, I believe, but some test centers dont have dates available for ten twelve weeks..... others you could have a test next thursday....

Ones with widest catchement areas, seem to have the longest lists.

May be worth pondering a longer journey.....

I needed to take my MOD2 within the next week (at the time) because my CBT was about to run out. (16-18)

The training school I did an hour with gave me a slot.

They book in bulk.
