I've got the the next years model, the same bike essentially.
It's got all the fairing bits, which is a bonus, they're probably the most difficult parts to replace, cheaply.
You need to go and look at it and hear it running.
Assuming there are no fluid leaks, no mayonnaise in the oil, and it runs and pulls smoothly it might be ok.
The footpegs are quite vibey, and the vibes can make the fairing rattle a bit.
Nearly a years MOT.
Parts are, relatively, easy to come by, personally I wouldn't be worried about the scraped crankcases as long as they're not leaking.
Still has original brake lines so you need to check the brakes and be prepared to fit braided lines.
It all depends what you want it for, the engines are strong.
Personally I'm not too bothered about the cosmetics, although it is an 'orrible colour! Lose the hugger, looks miles better without it!
Have a look at Mr Dunkables thread, personally, I've not had any electrical problems, but you may have problems with the reg/rectifier.
As it's from a dealer I'd be wanting a brand new battery and brake pads.
It's still overpriced though, I got mine a lot cheaper than that and second hand prices over here are OTT!
Mine's done roughly the same mileage and it still pulls like a train!
Is it a UK spec bike, mine isn't and when I replaced the carb rubbers there were restriction washers in there:-

Seems alot of coin for a 1991 bike with that milage and being painted in those colours must surely knock some money off. ____________________ CBT: Pass 25/06/2011 Theory Test: Pass12/06/2012 Mod 1: Fail 08/07/2012
