Direct link.

Some curious trend bucking going on. A lot of the bikes and capacities that are down year-on-year are up month-on-month, and vice versa.

Adventure sports and 125s are finally down, a big drop in nakeds, and a surprise ride in touring, but the numbers are all so small that it's hard to read any significance into it, other than that we're still not buying many new bikes.

Lulz come from the dead heat in the "Custom" category, between the Harley-Davidson Sportster N 883 and the mighty Lexmoto HT125-8 Vixen.

Lots of love for the Honda NSC110 (why? whyyyy?). Honda are romping away at the top of the chart, with Yamaha trailing a distant 2nd. Piaggio are now #3 just ahead of Triumph, blimey, and Harley are comfortably ahead of the tail enders, Peugeot, Kawasaki and KTM.

Suzuki? No show, yet again.

How funny would it be if Suzuki UK just started importing one of the Chinese copybikes with a copy of a Suzuki engine, but branded it as a proper Suzuki? Very Happy

That would be a dangerous game, they haven't got the best reputation for quality as it is. If it got any worse it could start to affect their Gixxer range and that would be catastrophic for them.

I'm quite amazed how well Triumph, BMW and Harley have done considering none do any small cheap bikes. I suppose the really amazing one is Harley, 211 cruisers in November FFS Shocked . Bikes like the Tiger and the GS you can sort of understand, but cruisers!!!

Suzuki Not doing well in this country but they are doing pretty well worldwide it seems.

Be interesting to see how the figures change next year after the new directive I'd have a guess that most people who have brought a 125cc bike has used it to pass tests and moved onto another bike before the directive. So that number will seriously drop (that's my opinion on it anyway).

Really? Confused

Sure, blud, is well fast, innit. Rolling Eyes

Those 482 "supersports" are going to include the YZF, CBR125, and the Lexmoto pointy-bikes as well.

Suzuki might we selling well in India, but we don't live in India. Given the number of UK dealers and the overheads of Suzuki UK corporate, I do wonder when (not if) they're going to have to "re-organise their debt" or whatever the parlance is for re-arranging the deckchairs on the Titanic.

I'm not sure how introducing a cheap-as-chips 125 could really harm Suzuki UK, since they aren't selling anything much their aging model range at the moment anyway - except for the months when they offer a savage discount. They've already devalued their own brand.
