 Posted: 16:31 - 17 Aug 2012 Post subject: Confused about my NSR " again " |
 |
|
Well had a look at the NSR today again and did some more looking around it, i came across the VIN Number stamped into the All cast frame, which is HI-JC20*018123*
what's weird is i also came across another VIN number or some sort of number on a long black sticker, it's HI-JC20 DGM52505 0M
How come it's got 2 numbers ? i am confused !
also i have found the little white sticker some of you BCF Member's have told me about. it says:
Model: NSR125FM
Color: NH1
Code: NH 1 K
How do i go about ordering part's for this as i havent got the year etc ?
Any help would be great
and much appreciated

Sure you got that VIN number right? Its not 17 characters and I don't think there's a country with identifier HIJ.
If you post some pics of the bike and a pic of the VIN some people on here will be able to tell you the year. ____________________ Current Bikes:Honda 929RR Fireblade, Honda CD200 Benly (Project), Stomp Z2 140

The final letter of the code indicates year I believe.
An ultra quick google search says NSR125FM is 1991.

think it's been solved now anyway...
all the NSR 125's that have (F) As the model number have the same part's accept cosmetic's ( panel's )
then the second letter responds to it's year, in my case it's a " M "
Thanks guy's for helping me out ____________________ RIP jack (wheelie king), you will never be forgotten.
