I mean seriously, you'd think a scam ad would be at least a little better constructed than this!

That's shocking! If anyone is stupid enough to contact them for that 'car' they almost deserve to be scammed!

The first ad was from Southampton and second from York. I'm not entirely sure what he is trying to achieve...

This again? I reported the last couple that we saw, they didn't get removed, so I can't be arsed trying to help Gumtree and/or weapons grade idiots any more.

Why doesn't it just say "Bring large sacks of money to a dark layby and await further instructions?" Thinking

I had one a scammer trying to sell me CBR600 once, they like to use moneygram as their payment (post office told me that it allows them to clear the funds in like, 10 minutes), while selling you some bs as to why they can't be there personally, but they have a friend living somewhere closer (going ahead with that is asking to get mugged).

"From the pictures I can see that the subframe is twisted, because of this would you be prepared to take £1150?
Thanks,
Tacbon."

I await his reply, fingers crossed he accepts.

Usually it's something along the lines of:
You spot the epic deal and message them quick telling them you want it. They say they have had a lot of bullshitters and time wasters so they want to know you have the money. Please put the money in western union and give them a photo or scan of the receipt to show you are serious. They then use the code off it to get the money.

Your rock up to the seller, with sticky sex wee literally streaming from your Y-fronts because you think you're about to buy £5K worth of bike for £1300 and then his mates twat you over the head down an alley and walk off with your cash.

Thumbs Up
