Having a closer look over my bike today i noticed that my tank has a small dent in it, about 5-6mm very small hardly noticable. I think its where my handlebars bent when i crashed.

Is there anyway i can remove this small dent? Suction Cups or something Question

Thanks in Advance.

there are companys that handle this kinda thing, most simply pump the tank full of a high pressure gas until the air pressure forces out the dent.

This can depend on where the dent it tho...if its on a contour line on the tank then they cant help...as the dent will just pop out, it will not reshape.

also...if the paint didn't crack when the dent went in...its fairly likely it will crack if the dent is pushed out.

have a look for some body shops..or even ask your local dealer, they usually will be able to help you.

regards

With it been so small its easier to just fill it and repaint, rather than trying to knock it out (trying to swing a panel hammer in a tank ain't going to work. Laughing ).
