I have some for the chicken coop, it's supposed to help against something called red-mite. I don't have red mite. Does it help prevent them? no idea. It just might be that none have been introduced as the chicken run is closed off to the general bird population.

I did put some DE on my planters when the plants were getting munched last year, I think it helped keep the slugs, snails away.

Are you thinking of using it as an alternative to worming?

I use it on plants and mattress ... Just thought BCF could discuss if suitable on dogs as per listing. I never take what they say on listings as gospel.

I bought some of this after i brought some bedbugs back from a hotel in france. It does really work and will kill any bugs that get it on them. Best of all they cant get immune to it as it kills them by cutting their shells open and they dry out and die. I believe you can also eat it yourself and feed it to pets to keep your guts clean and get rid of internal parasites.

Just be careful when you put it down as its a very fine dust that could cause respiratory problems if you breathe enough of it in.

You only need to use a very small amount, best applied with a puffer bottle. Also make sure you buy the food grade stuff and not the stuff used for filtration.
I bought a huge bottle of it off ebay for a few £ and still have most of it left.
