the odometer on my bike is stuck, but the speedo still works, how's that then?

what do you lot think, should I fix it, or leave it until I'm going to sell it, keeping the miles down?
only trouble with it is that I like to have an idea how many miles I've got left before I'll have to fill up

(it's a sc28 blade, btw)

I had the same problem this weekend, done around 400km without a speedo. I ended up stopping every hour and looking how much petrol was left in the tank.
