I'm a bit of a sucker for digital readouts, so have been looking at Acewell speedos.

To keep things simple I would be happy just with a digital speed readout. It would be nice to get one of the fancy Acewells with all the warning lights, indicators, revs, petrol, etc. but I don't I have the know-how/guts to mess about with the bike's wiring like that.

Are Acewell speedos any good? How difficult are they to install? Can I get something even more straight forward, maybe even a simple GPS based speedo if they're accurate enough.

Just had a thought, I could use my iPhone. I plan on getting a mount for it anyway as I have the TomTom App so may as well make use of it.

Can anyone recommend a GPS based speed readout app for when TomTom isn't running? How accurate would it be?
