Snow!

It has just snowed here. The first snow in pretoria since 1968! It melted before it hit the ground, but still snow!

I thought I was going to ride home in snow.

The temperature is 5 C, much colder than the usual 18-22 C of winter.

A friend sent me a pic this morning of Bethlehem covered in snow.

Your lucky, you won't have the joy of grit/rod salt, which eats your bike.

I'm the only moron around here who uses his motorcycle from the end of November until the end of March. I literally don't see another biker and I have the bike shed at work to myself.

Lots of people only tax their bikes 6 months a year, because the other 6 are pretty much crxp.

You'll never have the fun of going down a steep gradient, only to find ice patches, joy.

This year wasn't too bad, but the previous 3 years, we had really bad snow for weeks. (As in walking with snow chains on my shoes sort of mental).
