If you are speeding past some traffic cops but they don't pull you over does that mean they haven't actually caught you? Hoping for a quick reply to put my mind to rest.

Hi

Err, not really but probably. They could have been dealing with someone else and just taken your number down, but the chances are that they didn't unless you were seriously speeding.

All the best

Keith

Thanks for the quick reply. They didn't seem to be doing much looked like they were just having a chat sitting on their car bonnets. But I seen one look over ,must have wondered what that screaming thing was going down the road (I say screaming but I was on a scooter so thats about 10mph plus).

Another quick question, just say you were giving someone a lift with L plates and the passenger wasn't wearing a helmet, but I didn't actually get seen as for luck they just got off before I may of got caught speeding should be fine, shouldn't it.

If your doing what you just told us there then you really shouldnt be on the road. You do know your breaking two laws there dont you?

A) Carrying pillion passengers on a provisional license.

B) Pillion not wearing a helmet.

Please, consider the safety of your pillion and make him wear a helmet...even better..dont break the law.

Confused

I know, I was being stupid. Just gave my girl a lift to the bus stop from work. First time i've done it though, couldn't let her walk down by herself, but now i'm just trying to make excuses so i'll just admit i'm an idiot and I couldn't of lived with myself if something had of happened.

I saw some kid on a bike last nite on my way home.

The boy couldn't have been older than 8, sat on the petrol tank hands on the handle bars, the rider (wearing the helmet) sat behind him!

F*cking MAD!

I've never been pulled yet but I got the art of butt kissing down to a tee at school used to do some stupid stuff but always managed to get out of it, so I might have a bit of an advantage.

I've been pulled over once because they had nothing better to do. I just sucked up and spoke nicely and they didn't give me a producer. I wasn't doing anything serious anyway but I think if you give cheek you're making it a lot worse for yourself and will always be hounded.

I was very lucky going back about 6 months ago, i was pulled over by traffic police for doing 80mph in a 40mph zone. I pulled over and they just asked for my licence, he said he was going to give me 3 points and a fine but just before he could they got called of to an emergency, he gave my licence back and went blasting of with the sirings and blue lights flashing. I have heard nothing since.
