Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

Picking it up on Monday. Its nothing shiny and new.... a 2 stroke from 1990 in hammerite black Very Happy is fine for me, i prefere 'retro' than 'young and trendy' and wont worry as much if its gets dropped or scratched.

Been over 18 months since i rode a bike and its an hours ride away from somewhere i dont really know.... hope i pick things up pretty quick Laughing will have the wife following me back in the car so no pressure Rolling Eyes Very Happy Laughing

cant wait!

Having something you don't mind dropping is always a plus as chances are at it will happen.
Enjoy tomorrow.

I had the same when I picked up my 125. Went fine for me except there was something flicking my helmet for half the journey and couldn't figure out what it was...then half way through found out my helmet was undone! Shocked

You'll be fine, enjoy riding!

What is it?

I remember when I got my first 125, a KH125 some 9 months after doing my CBT.

Felt huge when the guy dropped it off.

I ended up taking it to a carpark so practice.

was wicked fun.

Thumbs Up Laughing Thumbs Up Ooooh! A Walter Kaaden Wonder! Thumbs Up Laughing Thumbs Up
THAT'S a proper bike that is!
Direct Decendant of the Grandaddy Two-Smoke the DKW RT125 and EVEN made in the same factory, where it was evolved (though unfortunately on customer bikes!) by the Genius of the Hi-Po 2T Walter Kaaden!
More Heritage than a Harley that thing!
Ride and be PROUD, to be keeping the two-stroke 'fug' alive!
Just stock up on spare spark plugs!

its here!! jumped on and rode it to work.... some well dodgy gear changes at the beginning but soon got back into it after not touching a 125 for 18 months!! obviously lots of room for improvement but loved every minute!

in reference to my other 'what do you wear' thread i wore all my gear and sweated my bollocks off Laughing but it was worth it. tonights shift wont finish soon enough, ive planned a long way home at 6am with minimum traffic to get in the way/crash into Very Happy
