I am in need of a bit of advice...
My RG125 project has a replacement GRP fairing, which has been painted with enamel paint.
Obviously I cannot paint over this with Cellulose or 2k due to the reaction between paint types, so what is the best way of removing the old paint?
I don't want to use heat as that will damage the GRP, and from what I remember paint stripper will also damage the GRP.
Suggestions please. ____________________ Four strokes is two strokes too many. |

No need to remove it just to avoid paint reaction, spray isolator on to it first, gives a neutral base between all kinds of paints.
google, Barcoat Isolator |
