BMW E30 CABRIOLET, 1 years MOT, 6 months tax, SOLD!

she's a great car, starts first time every time. has been great through the winter because of the hard top, and gorgeous in the summer with the roof down.

my only niggle through the last year has been the head cracking, but that has been replaced and she has a clean bill of health in the form of 12 months MOT again with absolutely no advisories.

details:

1989 320i convertible automatic
originally on a 'G' plate, now on private reg B6 PRO
royal blue
128000 miles, and still being used, so may go up a little

good bits:

leather interior in good condition - grey sports seats. a bit cracked but no tears or splits. Ipod compatible remote control head unit fitted, and a 10" sub and Amp in the boot. not too loud, but a nice bit of bass in the back. the front speakers were recently replaced due to the original ones disintegrating!

refurbed 15" BBS cross spokes on reasonable tyres with matching spares, and all 4 centre caps (also refurbed), these were done in september 2011 and still look brand new.

New head gasket, replacement second hand head and cambelt just done due to last head cracking. I have flushed through the oil and changed the filter, and all looks well there. the coolant has been flushed and replaced once, but there is still some residue making its way to the header tank from when the head failed. don't worry, this head is fine, and the emissions checks on the MOT today confirm that. The water pump and cambelt tensioner were replaced in september 2011 at 120K

no real rust to speak of (see below)

Bad Bits:

a few small patches of lacquer peel on the boot lid, and the passenger side rear quarter, but not too bad, see pics.

some slight rust at the bottom of the drivers side fron arch and in the passenger rear arch, but it doesn't look too terminal.

small dent in the boot lid, that has been touched up

usual dash cracks

headlining in the hard top is sagging, but not so much that it is in your face.

there are a few small repair patches to the soft top, but it seems watertight so far. if you are particularly anal you may want to replace it. the manual mechanism works fine.

thrown into the package are the following:

set of 4 17" alpina rep wheels with cheap (but good tread) tyres. no centre caps.

inlet manifold with throttle body, injectors etc
rocker cover
spare set of headlights
spare rear light cluster
spare 15" BBS wheel (not great condition)
haynes manual (if i can find it)
E30 restoration manual
BIG folder of history. dealer for most of it.
any other odds and sods i find that are E30 related

1 YEARS MOT (expire at the end of Aug 2013). Tax till the end of Feb 2013. Reason for sale is that i need to get a smaller cheaper runabout now i have a motorbike too or another motorbike if i can get it done without the wife noticing
