Hi,
This Saturday I'm going to replace my chain and sprockets as they are well overdue and worn.
Now, I have an idea on how to do it, but I'm still confused on a couple of parts, for example attaching the new chain/removing old chain and the tools required for the job.
Could anybody lend us a hand or point me to a helpful video/guide so I could follow without me going to a garage?
Thanks  ____________________ My Bikes: Lifan Beat 125cc '11 -> Suzuki B120P '76 -> Suzuki EN 125-2A '08 -> Honda CG 125 '04 -> Honda CB600F Hornet '98 -> Kawasaki ZZR 600 '99 -> Kawasaki GPZ 500S '95 (Current)

Theres a thread in bike pictures by myself called YBR125 or something along those lines.
Covered in there was the removal and refitting of the rear wheel, tensioning the chain and removal of both sprockets.
The chain? either unhook it (on the ybr you take off the passengers footpeg mount and the rear shock on that side) and lift it straight off the side of the bike. Or take a hacksaw/grinder to it and just cut it off. It's gonna get binned anyway!
New chain fitting, wrap it all round, slot the link in, and put the little clip on the end facing the direction the chain would move in when your going forwards. chain goes this way <----- C------- C representing the shape of the clip. pic of actual clip below;

So as shown in that pic, link goes through, end goes on, then the clip holds the end on if this makes sense? The clip slots into the two grooves on the link.
Any help? ____________________ Please be aware that the above post may be full of complete nonsense.
