Last friday I passed my DAS and then sold my little cg125 the day after. The original plan was to then use this money to fund my next bike. I am currently in the middle of buying a house so those plans have soon changed! I am hoping to get a new bike a few months after I move in and wanted to keep my insurance running after selling the 125 so I have a years no claims next year.
This now brings me onto my current 'bike'. My girlfriends old bright pink piaggio zip. It has been behind her dad's shed for the last 6 years and not moved. I insured it last week and I am hoping to try and get it running tomorow.
This is how I got it home last nught. If anyone ever wondered if you can fit a piaggio zip in the back of a Ford fiesta, I have proof that you can!

I took the scooter apart yesterday and gave everything a proper clean as the scooter had weeds growing through it and a billion spiders. Managed to get the scooter going on the kick start but fuel is pissing out of the bottom of the carb. I've had the carb apart and the float needle seems to be moving freely so I'm not sure what the problem could be.
These are the holes that the fuel is coming out of. Do these need blanking off, or is something supposed to connect the here?
