Hi,

Up for sale is my road bike. Getting more use out of my Mountain Bike, and will be upgrading bits on it so I can do more XC stuff in the near future so this has to go sadly.

It's a Fausto Coppi ‘Lombardia’ Model

(Bit of info, Fausto Coppi was a Italian Rider in the 40's-Early 50's who won a lot of Italian Races - See: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fausto_Coppi)

It's 3 Years old with 2 owners (Myself and My Boss who sold it to me last year)

Carbon Fibre Forks (Aluminium Steerer)
Frame is made from 7005 Grade Aluminium
18-Gears (Compact Front Chain ring - 2x9 setup)

Around a 52cm Frame (I’m 5’10” and it’s a good fit, Friend who was 6'2" rode it and it was fine for him also)

Cosmetics Issues: Some very small stone chips (Paint affected only) and cable rub on the headset area of the frame

Bit of info on what I've done since I've owned it:
Full ‘Phase 2’ service by Evans Cycles Nottingham in January 2012. Costing me a little over £300.
(I have a copy of the Service sheet) for this some of the following happened:
- Full Strip down and clean/re-grease of all parts
- New Rear Shimano Wheel
- New Bottom Bracket
- New Brake Pads (Front and Rear)
- New Handlebar Tape
- New Brake and Gear Cables
- New Tyres Front and Rear
- New Rear Cassette
- I replaced the Front Wheel with a matching Shimano Wheel of the Rear on 25/04/12

I currently have Normal platform pedals with a toe-clip on the bike, but I also have some Shimano PD-R540 Clipless Pedals and shoes (Men’s Size 10) which if you wanted them, could buy them for a small extra cost (£50) - The shoes has some wear on the outside from the chain ring and general scuffs, as do the cleats due to walking from the bike shed into my work. Other than that, they work well and are a bargain (I paid around £90 for them together when I got them about 10 months ago)

I’ll include my Cateye Velo8 Cycle Computer with the bike aswell as the bottle holders for no extra charge.

Also, I'm based in the Nottingham area, but could possibly deliver if you sorted fuel out depending on where you were (East Midlands only, You'd need to collect if outside of East Midlands.. *Not open to deliver it unless you organised it and sorted that out yourself*

I'm open to offers, so let me know what you're willing and we'll go from there.

Cheers,

Rob.
