Pretty much decided that I want to get a SRAD GSX-R 750 as my next bike, once I get paid out for the ZXR.

I'd prefer the injected model, unless the earlier one is actually a better bike, anything I need to be aware of when looking at them, other than the usual stuff?.

Anyone used one daily? It'll be getting used to commute on, weekend fun and the possibility of the odd trackday thrown in.

Cheers, Thumbs Up.

Funny, I was asking about this same thing in live chat. Took me a while to come to the same conclusion, now all I want is a GSXR 750. Since I've been riding a CBF1000 I don't really want to go back to a 600.

It seems the consensus that the more "manly" machine is the slingshot version Razz

I'm going to go for the SRAD anyway as they're faster and cheaper.

You'd better not buy the one I've got my eye on! Laughing

I can't really say much, having not ridden one, but I'm hoping to buy one by Friday so if you haven't already - I'll let you know!

I've seen a few on eBay but it looks like I've got to wait a little while longer before I get paid out, so they'll be gone by then. Never really been a fan of the older ones, but always like the SRAD's and the K models. Did a few miles on a SRAD 600 years ago that was a mate's and that handled really well, just I'd like a bit more poke. Mainly worried about how reliable the engine's are likely to be, although I've read they're pretty bulletproof. I'm aware that the rest of the bike is made of cheese, but I'm not too fussed about that.

Thumbs Up
