Has anyone got any tips on removing old stickers from fairings and also the glue that left behind in places. I have tryed white spirit but it doesn't seem to have any effect.Any help appreciated.

Many people use a hair dryer to melt the glue.

Idea I used petrol on my car.
Don't know if its safe for the paint , better consult someone else for confirmation. Thumbs Up

If you use a heat gun and peel the stickers off, then use T-Cut or thinners to remove the glue.

you can try Mr Sheen, you have to leave on over night, works quite well.

thanks for relplies, computer has been down for a couple of days hence the late reply. i used mr sheen and now my fairings are sticker free and ready for new paint job Very Happy
