Hi all,

When i ride my bike (nsr125 2002) its seems fine if i keep the throttle pinned back and ride around every where at 7000 rpm or above, but as soon as i let the revs drop off to say 5000 rpm say for example coming off a round about or tightish bend then try to accelarate again the motor seems to hit a major flat spot! almost feels like the engine floods or runs out of petrol Rolling Eyes on extreme cases the engin Embarassed e stalls!!

any ideas of what the problem might be?? or is this normal!

cheers all

I think everyone's NSR done this. Mines seemed to stop after it was warmed up and been right through the gears giving it high revs all the way.

Its a 2 stroke. It has no low down power. To keep it moving quickly keep it over 7k.

Hi

As above, but it also has a slide carb (as do just about all 2 strokes) so giving it full throttle at low revs will screw the mixture up.

All the best
