not too easy, just ride it normally, but with out taking to many risks, or riding faster than normal etc, just ride progressively and build it up to your normal level.......personally i find the first corner is normally the worse one ____________________ Bikes owned :- 2001 nsr125, 1999 zx6r, 2006 yzf-r1, 2009 xmax 250, 2012 yzf-r1, 2015 MT-07

Yeah, I'd say the first 10 miles are about the worst, just ride sensibly and as craig said don't do anything really mad!
The place I get mine done say don't use full power for 100 miles but I reckon that's being a bit over-cautious! ____________________ Love is 1050cc |

You live in stoke right? ride to matlock - glossop - home -
tyres will be scrubbed in nicely after that
Seriously they should be fine within 100 miles especially twistys, as has been said the first couple of corners are worst, reason being the ultra slippy slippy stuff they coat tyres in at the factory, just make sure your fist ride is not a wet one, wait till the roads are dry if possible or it will take a while to get the nasty stuff off... ____________________ >RidingSkills<->Tech Tips<->MyBikes< |

McJam posting: Note to self - next time check that the rear tyre is actually on the right way around before getting it most of the way scrubbed in.

If it's a rear tyre your laughing just get a mate to help you hold the bike over and do a nice little burn out leaning from left to right ....... it worked on my mates rs 125 anyway ____________________ WHAT DO YOU MEAN 100 MPH THATS IMPOSSIBLE I STILL HAD 3 GEARS TO GO OFFICER. i fitted my tyres myself at college, but then it started to rain! so i had to go 23 miles in the pourig rain and cold with NEW Michelin Pilot Race tyres on! wasn't fun!!! i could feel the front wanting to go! fine now tho! next day was dry as a bone and warm! so i just went round my local BIG roundabout several hundred times!
