Why do some users log in as hidden??

I thought the point of the forum was to chat and get to know people and share things and experiences ... it looks a bit like being robbed by a mate!

Am I the only one that thinks it is strange?

I am indeed one of those users.

I've always just done it because I hate seeing my username up there in bright lights. Also I sometimes leave the browser page open and would rather not have it look like I live on the site.

I think it only shows 'active' users...ones that are surfing between the urls under bikechatforums.com, but I could be wrong.

I'm invisible...think of it like a full fat chocolate bar vs a fat free chocolate bar. Razz

Indeed it only shows active users, if you've navigated to a BCF page in the last 10 minutes or so.
