Just moved away from MCE after being fu*ked about when renewing (bastards put my excess up from £250 to £750 without telling me).

eBike are doing far better terms for only £30 more with all my bike mods covered, but whats the service like? had anyone had to claim in the past?

Been with them for three years now - never had to make a claim, but they've been easy to deal with regarding my bike storage situation (garaged about 3/4 mile from where I live) and one mid policy change I made. Their Business Use policy also covered instructing which was handy and they were still the cheapest.

Only gripe I had last renewal was despite ticking the box saying please contact the DVLA to verify my licence so I don't have to scan a copy off to you, they wouldn't. Customer services weren't clear on why, but it was a minor bugbear in the big scheme of things.

Used them for five years in the past, never claimed with them but never had a problem either, be warned though they don't cover you on other bikes, they were going to make it a pay for add on when I enquired but I haven't used them for a couple of years so they may have done by now...

I had them for a months cover. The only issue I had was is everything is done online, and I mean everything. You want to talk to them, its pretty hard to do unless via e-mail/online chat.

Apart from the non-human approach, no problems.

That's a selling point for me. If anyone's going to stuff up my policy, it'll be me, thanks. I far prefer email to phone calls, for the avoidance of made up on the spot bullshit doubt later.

They also don't charge for (most) mid term adjustments, which can be a significant factor if you're planning any changes. And yes, multiple mods are covered without any hassle and at minimal extra cost.

Just be aware that they do want to see an image of your license, but it doesn't have to be a scan - a decent photograph is OK.

This link should get you £40 off a bike quote.

Been with them for five years. No problems other than when trying to claim. They sold my claim to another company without telling me and gave me the right run around when trying to find out who had bought it.

As said above, mid term adjustments are usually free with no admin fees and are the cheapest for me by far, even when adding my new CBR to the policy.

Never had to send them my license though they normally check that themselves however when it comes to renewal they ALWAYS ask for proof of no claims but if you email back with your policy number and say you were with them the previous year they sort it out amongst themselves.

Used them for the last two years, no need to claim but have been very easy to use, I have changed bikes three times in the last 12 months and the website has been very easy to use when amending and even better there was no additional cost for each change!

Be prepared to send copies of licence and proof of NCB

I raised a complaint with them about having to do this as they ask for permission to request details from the various co's.

All I got was a reply we will do it this time, but in future you will need to send copies in.

Plus side they don't seem to charge for changes like other brokers.

All in all happy as anyother broker to be with them.

Been with them for years, never charged for adding or removing bikes and have all mods declared for no extra.
