Any suggestions on this side of the pond - wants to buy a bike in UK, insure it, tour with me and another mate here and in France, but not a UK citizen or resident!

Is he doomed to do a rental? he's more interested in a 'character' bike so wants to buy an oldie (has a Suzie GS850G over there, gawdblessim) and resell it on return.

Gone to my insurance brokers (Bennetts) but no-can-do for a non-national.

Thanks to all for clean decent honest truthful suggestions!
