Just picked it up this afternoon so it would've been rude not to give it a good blast!

1500 miles on the clock and blemish free....

I started biking just over two years ago on a Honda H100 which i'd rebuilt for fun, took my DAS two months after and quickly bought a CBR600FK with 45k on it. It was quite clean and actually a very good example for it's age but parts are getting harder to get and i felt i was ready for something for a bit more power just for the extra fun factor.

First impressions? Although this is 1000cc it actually feels lighter and much more responsive than the old CBR, not just on the throttle which is to be expected but handling is so much tighter and smooth...the bends seem to be just a gentle lean in and the bike follows as though it were part of my leathers, no effort, no drama. Ride comfort is excellent for me...i was worried that the more racing position would be more tiring but after 70 miles no discomfort or wrist ache! (I am in my 50's after all lol)

As for the speed well...FUCK ME !!!!!! Laughing
