Hey,
Why pay for something you can quite easily get for free.........

Used their months free trial and can quite easily say i have much more choice using a seedbox and a well known torrent site.

Cheers,
Shaun.

I tried it for a month but was disappointed by its range of films.

Personally I would go for Love film.

Its better if you change your DNS settings to a US server, you then get the US version with far more variety.

Exactly what ghostrider said. Unlock it for US and it's deffo worth the £6 a month. For the convenience it has over downloading it's also worth £6.

Are you paying for the service of re-routing your netflix or is it a hosting thing? Will it affect my gaming on xbox?

Do this, there are so many more films/tv to choose from and you can still access he UK content is a computer. Although I wouldn't overly recommend it to be honest.

Did it and Im both impressed and pissed off. The American one has so much more its unbelievable, Im pissed off because Ive just realised once again how badly we get shafted every time in the UK. Theres more episodes of UK programmes on the US site than the UK FFS.

As for downloading vs paying etc, I dont have the knowledge or time to be scooting through torrents and stuff. This is on demand and easy. It works out at a couple of quid a week and theres a fair bit of stuff on there to get through. Very easy and straightforward, thats how I like it Laughing

I had the UK limited Netflix for a free month.

When we first got it, I was calling out film names to the GF to see if they were on there, I thought she was taking the piss when she kept saying no.

In the end I watched a lot of 24, but didn't fancy paying for it when there was pretty much fuck all on there and a lot of it was on 4od etc.

If you're going to use the US one then you're really only paying £6 for a more convenient way to "steal" their precious regionally licensed content, right? And you have to half the value-for-money proposition, since I understand that all you copypirates have an eyepatch, aar.

Ahem. Try the UK one free for a month, you'll likely get through everything that you want to watch then realise that's all there is too it. Then you can decide if it's worthwhile using the same convenient service to steal Colonial bits (their 0s are fatter) down a series of tubes.

Hmm, I haven't had any begging emails from Netflix UK for a while telling me that there's now even more more ways to watch the same teeny library. Maybe they've just given up?

Either way, the hoped for content war with Lovefilm really hasn't panned out. Thumbs Down
