I installed one of these one my bike earlier however, it did not come with a wire with an in line fuse. I'm only using the alarm mode and I'm not interested in any others.

I have wired it just from the battery terminals without an in line fuse (this bothers me somewhat). Should there be one? If so where can I get one?

Finally, as anybody had any experience of the alarms flattening batteries? The datatool alarm on my firestorm would quite often drain the battery in a week!

I think it has one inside actually, not 100% though as I opened it up a few years ago! I'd get another fuse holder anyway tbh, can get them from Halfords, almost any motor parts store, ebay...

As for the cyclone alarms, they're a good deterrent, though I'd go for something better if it were a very expensive bike. In my first year accomodation at uni I could turn the alarm off from the other side of the tower block Thumbs Up

It's got the HISS system and I've got a great big fuck off padlock and chain. The primary reason for me buying the alarm was so that I could hear it if some scabby bastard tried making off with it.
