I reckon you'd get about 5 miles before you hit traffic or the cops!

In the 70's a guy called Dave Taylor wheelied a Yamaha XT500 around the entire length of the TT course, a distance of 37.73 miles. He did briefly touch the front wheel down on the jump over Ballaugh Bridge, other than that the whole lap was done on the back wheel.

if that was me i'd start again, "i nearly did a wheelie the whole way round the TT course" doesnt sound anywhere near as cool as "i wheelied the whole way round the TT course" Laughing

1 minute, 10 minutes. Makes no difference once you've got it I don't think.

Plus, he's on a purpose built stunt bike, which, if anything, makes doing it that much easier, because he doesn't care about flipping / throwing it down the road as much as somebody on a flashy sports bike.

Still bloody impressive. I managed just over 4 miles on the back wheel of my YZF450, but ran out of straight'ish road to carry on.
