Together with my current working rf6, and the monkey bike in the corner. I put an armchair in my garage for those pondering moments.

Don't feel bad, a brand new YBR is £250/bhp.

How does it run/ride?
I might be in the market for one of these in the spring if you get bored of one. I need something more suitable for 2 up touring. The TRX isn't exactly built like an armchair... |
Well I have one rf6 in my parents garden as a sort of long term backup. One was my daily runabout, finishes on ebay tomorrow morning. Just want a sm for fun stuff and the monkey will be winter hack (I don't really travel very far in winter)
Runs very well. Rides nicely. Got -1 front sprocket cause who needs 150mph in reality. Very comfy and handles pillions excellently. Downsides are weight, and tends to use a fair amount of fuel, but that's probably my riding. Suspension up front is a bit vague. Brakes are okay if looked after.

Yeah it is a lot of bike for the money. It's pretty quick. A guy I used to ride with had the same year cbr900 and it would do him to 120.
Wasn't advertised well so I guess I got a bit of a bargain. It is in pretty good condition, with a fair amount of history.[/quote] ____________________ Previous: GSF600, FZR600 x2, ZXR750, XT600 Tenere, CB125, CZ125, ETZ 250, ER5, CCM R30, DRZ400, RF600x4, RF900x2, GS500, VTR1000F, 640 SMC, CB250 NIGHTHAWK, GT550x3, GPX750 TE610, CB500, X11x2, SV650, ZING 125, TL1000R,CB250 Superdream, CBR1100XX |

Makes sense. Might have to find myself an RF9 next summer. 125bhp for under a grand and a comfy pillion seat to justify it to the other half. Sounds like an ideal summer autoroute blaster to me.
The ZZR1100 is the other similar(ish) option but after my ZZR6 it would need to be in good fettle. That rear shock really was shagged ____________________ Riding: BMW R1150RT `02 bought mildly crashed
