Castrol Magnatec - clutch issues?

Has anyone used this in their bike and had issues with clutch slippage?

Halfords are knocking it out at £17.50 per bottle so i'm tempted to stock up.

Regular GTX is fine though and varies between £18 and £20 for 4L from Asda/Tesco

Do NOT put anything with the name Magnatec in your gearbox! Shocked

Magnatec will cause clutch slip on most big bikes.
I run it fine in my pit bike engines, but wont put anything other than manufacture spec oil in my sports bikes etc. For the extra couple of quid per litre, it's not worth skimping on.

....the problem with Magnatec is that the formulation seems to work fine in about 60-70% of bikes...dependent upon the contact material of the clutch, size of plate, power etc........but there is not a guarantee and for what is effectively a 1 in 3 or 1 in 4 chance of buggering up the clutch it is just not worth it.
