Guys, I'm from brighton, but usually head between Brighton, East grinstead, Eastbourne, Etc a lot, These are getting boring pretty fast. Anyone know any nice places to visit in the southeast region?

Fancy getting a few shots of my bike with a decent backdrop.

cheers. Cool

I guess it depends what you like. I personally, cannot tire of Devils Dyke or Cuckmere Haven or pretty much anywhere along the coastal route towards Dungeness.

I always ride down little roads I've never been before, and find cute villages with amazing ancient architecture. Sussex is a beautiful and scenic county.

Have you been along the entirety of the A272...lovely road...again with interesting places - if you like that sort of thing.

If you are looking for places to ride to with purpose, then why don't you join in with the SE Tag game...you might find some places that you've never been before (and if as you say East Grinstead and Brighton are your main stomping grounds, then I'd say it might open your eyes somewhat). Thumbs Up

Surrey Hills in general, A25 from Dorking up to Newlands corner. Cracking views and a decent cafe, not as busy as box hill.

You need to link up with some local riders - Have you been to Wessons Cafe ? used to be called Ogri's Cafe once... Arundel and along the A272 are okay (bit congested these days), Bury Hill is a good meeting place and many roads spirle out from there.

If you fancy something more challenging why not do the Round Britain Rally next year as it ends shortly for this year, see www.roundbritainrally.co.uk this is usually a good event and lasts from May through October, I learned of some superb roads in the Uk whilst doing this.

you get a score card and an identity card, the score card gives clues to places of intrest throughout the UK you have to find them ride to them and photograph your bike at or near them. his is the card completed for 2002 which i did.

Give it a shot you will enjoy it and it gives reason to getting out on the bike and doing some good miles...
