I picked this up tonight. I've long been fancying something more touring oriented as I find the VTR causes me to ache like fuck after about 40 miles. After having the VTR MOT'd last week the Varadero caught my eye.

It's in very good condition, has 12k on the clock but was cat d'd after the previous owners wife shunted it. The cracked front fairing has been replaced so there are only scratches on the bar end. Anyway I paid 3K for it, it's an '07 plate so 'm happy with that.

First observations from riding is that it's extremely comfortable, needs more noise and moar carbs (it's FI Sad ). So on the shopping list are some new cans for it and I've bought an alarm (Cyclone V2) to fit tonight. Oh and it came with the fully pannier kit too.
