Hey guys I was looking at revamping my zxr 400 with a new top of the range does play unit
https://www.demon-tweeks.co.uk/motorcycle/dash-displays/race-technology-dash-2-race-and-road-dashboard
But I'm not sure if I can find anyone near were I live to fit it for me , and I don't think I'm that confident to do it by myself I was just thinking is there an alternative route , say go to a car electrician ect , because this would be a great little device to have for me
Any help would be great Thumbs Up

Are you trying to double the value of the bike? 600 quid. Keep the cash and put it to a larger bike worth tricking.

IMO buying that dash for a ZXR400 is retarded. If you have the money to blow spend it on getting your suspension set and rebuilt/improved.

I agree with the other guys, it's too expensive.

If you are still considering it just bear in mind that it probably has electronic inputs for speedo etc which your bike might not have. I'm not sure if your model has a mechanical speedo or not in other words.

Don't just plonk a race shock on there take the bike to someone that knows what they are doing to properly set the bike to your weight I thoroughly recommend MCT in Stowmarket. You may not even need a new shock just the original being rebuilt resprung and set right. Thumbs Up

Well the preload is one aspect of it there are MANY more to consider. Getting the suspension properly sprung and damped for your weight will be the best thing you can do to a bike.
