Derbi senda issues, problems general chat!

[Dannylewis27]

Hallo there I'm working on my 03 senda R and it just seems to be so spluttery and hesitant!
I'm going to take the carb out and clean it, Nd all the exhausts

Any ideas and what size herrings I should be using and size carb?

It has a 'big one' aftermarket exhaust so I don't know if the last guy rejetted it at all or not

The manual shows what jetting should be but people seem to say bigger carbs and bigger jets equals a better ride

What do you guys think?

ALSO the bike is so gunked up! I'm sure the carb Nd valves must be dirty as sometimes if I pull the clutch in from high revs or if I rev it in neutral it will stick until I engage a gear, I'm assuming the butterfly valve is sticking?
