Well its been a good 650 miles since my last incident now my exhaust has cracked in half, it is most likely repairable but it is very rusty

I have not seen any expansion boxes for my bike (89 honda vision) only standard ones that come in around £40-60.

Is there anyone capable of custom fabricating an expansion box to suit this bike? Question

Finding information on how the bike is restricted has proved impossible but I have a hunch it was via the exhaust, if I could get an expansion box what other adjustments would the bike need to run it?

Thanks Smile

would say fabricating an exhaust up for this would be more costly than the standard box

if you can get one for £40 then thats pretty reasonable

Hi

Another vote for a custom made one costing far more than you have already found standard ones for.

All the best

Believe it or not your better going standard if you have not yet found a professional manufactured exhaust.

Exhaust's are much for complicated than people make them out to be, it's not what just go's out it's also the rate some go's back in,

Here is a write up of the " expansion chamber " on wiki

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Expansion_chamber

Hope this help's.

Thanks for the replies,

I will go for a standard one! As I am approaching 17 it would of been nice to have some extra speed is all!

To be honest a performance pipe won't really make a huge amount of diffrence, even jetted correctly you will only being seing very minimal gains.
