Hi everyone. After thinking that I solved the issue with my ZX6R Ninja F3 breaking down, I shouldn’t have been so complacent. It konked out the other night and had to push it for a couple of miles back home. Just before it cut out it sounded like it was running on 2 – 3 cylinders then would not start again for love nor money. Tried bumping it but nothing. As soon as I got it back home it started… I replaced the spark plugs and sorted a small hole out in the exhaust and things sound as they should but the bike has flatspots in every gear. Just doesn’t have the acceleration that it used to have. When putting the bike back together after replacing the plugs I noticed that the coil pack was making a weird noise and the bike wouldn’t start so I wiggled a wire to the coil and it started up. Do you think it could be the coil pack that’s causing it to cut out and run lumpy? The 2 spark plugs from that particular coil were in a much worse state than the other 2 (much darker colour) Any advice would be greatly appreciated Thumbs Up

Checked the fuel pump and it is fine mate. Borrowing a multimeter to check later on. Does anyone know how to check the coil packs and what is a normal reading? Or does it depend on the specific bike?
