weird thing at work need help figuring it out Aliens ?

Hi Guys basically im an area manager for a cleaning company. We supply them with mats from PHS Washrooms that go over there reception entrance they are changed on regular periods of time last time a strange circle appeared on the matt on the same letter of the matt this time another matt later the strange mysterious circle that wasn't there before has again appeared. It looks like a hot object has pressed onto the matt for a few seconds but there are no burns on the carpet. none of our chemicals are corrosive and non have that shape container. Are aliens bored of crop circles and are descending onto the rugs any one have the faintest idea what this could be...

Do they regularly test their Carbon Dioxide fire extinguishers and do they place them on said mat ?...

Yes, next time you go in see if it fits, they could be bringing people upto policy standard and having them trained by an outside operative on how to use them, then when they're going back inside it's being placed on the mat...

Let me know as I'm a curious kind of bloke and I'm now, err, curious...

That's the only thing that springs to mind, also the centre of the circle looks like the fibres have been lifted and have the same discolouration as the circle itself which to me suggests whatever is doing it has a solid domed bottom as the cold would cause the fibres to lift, so my money is on the C-D extinguisher...

briliant mate not really my job to investigate but its puzzling me ! but yes i thought chemical burn at first so i checked all of that and none of the fiberes are burnt or anything and the colour has gone from the R
part of the logo so it must be that.
