Saw this on Visor Down and thought I'd share it.
Bikers are the least irritating things to car drivers!

Incoming rant;

Caravanners...

unless you regularly drive between London and the deepest darkest Westcountry like myself, you will never understand true hatred.

Also cyclists...in DEVON? God dammit my car struggles enough getting up these hills and now I have to SLOW DOWN because you're blocking me?

Also chelsea tractors, you don't own the road, fuck off. Yes that's right, I'm going to put on my brakes and slow down to 60 in the overtaking lane, because I'm already doing 90 and I don't need you on my arse, piss off.

Old people, it's a 60mph zone, stop being forty faggots.

I really need to pass my test so I can hop on the bike already Evil or Very Mad

I imagine bikers don't irritate people because they don't get in people's way as much if at all. Caravanners on the other hand... Rolling Eyes

I'm not surprised at all to be honest. Some drivers are knobbers, some bikers are knobbers. Most people are generally ok.

I'd assume that it's just because they don't think about us enough to be bothered checking the box.

Must admit, this summer so far, there's quite a lot of cagers moved over for me (which I consider very nice indeed) with only one actively trying to kill me... Hmm, maybe standards really are improving Thinking

The only group that seem to dislike bikes and purposely try and block you or hinder you, or do dangerous things are older men in SUVs. They are the least likely to give way.

Guess they feel pissed that they spent all that money and must still sit in traffic like the cheapest cage, and bikes just stream by.

Their egos take a bruise since they can't ride a bike

LOL Krad - thought that was just a british thing.

I seem to encounter 2 sorts of cunts on he road, the slave to brand name BWM shitty 3 series diesel driver, that thinks his vehicle is just awesome and probably the fastest thing on the block.

Theres a bunch of lads in Tewkesbury that make a living from doing up and tuning cars, you would think they would be keen to race in order to brag they beat a bike. But to be fair they seem pretty decent, in fact most people here slide over when I filter.

And FUCKING BLIND AS BATS OLD PEOPLE (possible generationalisation)

Have us where?

This place gets more and more unintelligible every day (for native born English speakers). Rolling Eyes

It would be even more unintelligible if spoken in some british accents lol!

Hey but with written expressions I can read them, scratch my head to figure them out and wonder about the quirks of english that just can't be translated

Just filtering down the A3 yesterday during rush hour you find out how many car drivers dont like bikers. Theres 3 types it seems.

Type 1. Those that see you filtering down and move over to give you room.

Type 2. Those that dont see you/dont move over but theres normally enough room to get past anyways.

Type 3. Those that do move over but the opposite way and try and block you from passing. These are the ones to watch out for.

I generally don't have a problem with filtering but I have started to notice more issues with the drivers coming towards you. Despite planing ahead and finding somewhere to pull back in I get:

Arrow Those that pull over to the left of their lane to give you a bit more room. Thumbs Up
Arrow Those that feel a need to flash their lights from 1/2 mile away and gesticulate as if you are creating some form of major hazard for them. Rolling Eyes
Arrow Those that deliberately swerve towards you in an attempt to scare you, despite the fact that they are several hundred yards away and you have already pulled back into your stream of traffic. Middle Finger

Cars make people angry, ban them. Laughing

But that's what makes us such a rich cultural society.

The chavs, the pikeys, the Essex tits, the Wiggers etc. Smile

Haha I'm pretty sure had the driver who came within literal millimeters of killing my boyfriend last night done that survey there would have been a +1 for being annoyed by bikes - boyfriend chased him round for a bit for a bit of fun, and to make him think twice about being such a tit.

My boyfriend came round a roundabout, thought "that cars going a bit fast....oh shit he's not going to stop" so he sped up round the roundabout to get out the way, had to lean right over to make the bend, and the car driver came within millimetres of his back tyre. Fecking scary stuff, had it have been me on my 125 he said there is not a chance I would have got out the way. It pissed him off so much he chased them round for a bit, said they were running scared, all whilst I was at home on the driveway wondering how to bloody hell I managed to beat him home haha!

I don't know any drivers who would put bikers at the top of their annoyed by list, micras, 4x4s, caravans and persistent brakers though, they all need to be evicted from the road Evil or Very Mad

So, another example of SMIDSY there. No wonder thy don't see bikes actually on the road!

I also like the statistics with the use of the %. Somehow these add up to more than 100%...

Confused
