Righto.

I've got my old engine welded up, in the frame, and she is confirmed a runner as of this evening! (sounds awful with just the manifold outlets without headers) Well chuffed!

The mount has been welded up, and a spacer put between the left and right mounts to protect it that bit more when it's tightened up.

My only concern is will it be strong enough during day to day use?
I trust it will, as engine's/frames get welded up an awful lot, especially in custom land, reckon it'll be all good?

It's already in the frame, and bolted up, my only concern was if the weld would hold from the vibrations of the engine and shit road quality like our country subjects us to.

I haven't seen it myself (dad's been dealing with it) but it's not a massive mount, nor was the crack that big.
I'm hoping the weld has put more metal in there than there originally was.

First off, excellent news! Glad to hear you've got it sorted. Thumbs Up

Any weld, if made properly is as strong as the original metal. Don't forget that you're joining parts at the molecular level - it's not like glue. It should be fine but if you're concerned, just keep an eye on it. Smile
