There will be a botched attempt to pin it on the family as the actual killer is long gone and impossible to trace.

This will not be a conspiracy of french and uk police being in league with the murderer, but the simple practicalities of policing.

They have to follow up leads available to them, who do we know actually knew the deceased ? Friends and family. Who had motives ? Where were they at the time.

I think it sounds too professional to be a family feud. Someone like Mossad wanted to make it public enough to be a warning but not obvious enough to be done by a particular agency. I think they could have made it look like an accident but wanted it to be clearly an execution as a warning to some other people. No idea who.

It's all very suspicious:

Double tap head shots,
Dad disappearing five times a day for up to half an hour,
Bomb squad evacuating around the house,
Dad 'possibly' having been on the Special Branch watch list,
Shots through side windows instead of windscreen (which can deflect bullets off target),
Car backed in to side bit as if it was trying to flee,
Potential witness (cyclist) being shot as well.

The killer is probably a million miles away, or being harboured by the hit makers. I don't think we will ever find out the real truth about it all, you have to feel sorry for the orphaned kids, one of which apparently may be permanently blind.

Thankfully I'm on a banger rally with three mates and a fuckload of other teams; unless an army of ninjas come after us we should be fine.

Its probably the Iranian security forces, or the CIA.

He worked for a company that builds satellites, its bound to be some James Bond type explanation.

Mossad would have exterminated them all the way back to Muhammed, given the opportunity.

No idea, don't really care except in as much as it's awful for the kids. But then again, they'd have been worse off in their country of origin.
