After a few weeks, a trip to a plastic welding repair shop, not *too* big a chunk of cash, some fibreglass, some filler, some spray paint and 2 packs of sandpaper my zx6r is no longer in a few pieces in the garage, it is a glorious whole again!

I just wanted to say thanks for all of you who offered your advice when I posted a while back, I really appreciated the help Smile Now I just have to start the process of getting used to the bike again, I went out for the first time this evening and it was a bit daunting but no problems. I was *just* getting the feel for it when we slipped on the road and that was that - garaged for weeks. I'm just hoping the daunting feeling goes away and the fun feeling comes back Very Happy

Good news! Very Happy Does that mean you're fit for the run on Sunday? Question

I'm afraid Sunday is my dad's birthday and we're all set for a familt get-together, so I can't make it Sad

Oh yeah you said.... Sad

Weather wasn't the best for a ride tonight here. Was very lightly raining all night. Glad it's all sorted now though! Have fun and be careful. Which I'm sure you will be. Thumbs Up Smile

yeah it was trying to drizzle here - very very light though so it was OK. It probably wasn't ideal to make my first ride be in the dark in slight rain, but it had to be done, I just had to get back on the bike! Now I know I'm not going to fall off at the first opportunity I can get some practice in, get to know it Smile
