I nearly fell off my chair!

I lost my licence and counterpart thanks to an internal mail foul up at work, so had to order a new one. Did it online at 9pm on Tuesday, and it plopped through my letterbox today, complete with all my entitlements (yay!) and all my points (boo! And I did like the old-school charm of the points being written in biro with really poor handwriting).

I can only assume that, as I verified my ID electronically, no humans were involved in the process!

Printed them on - it's quite feasible for that to be produced from the driver record automatically.

I sent my pass certificate off the other day to add my car entitlement with a D1 form after the examiner had fucked up sending my licence away.

Within a week I have a shiny new licence with the updated address with all my categories. Is this a new trend we're seeing?

Apologies, I read that as they were written on the new one.

Maybe, they have some holiday cover people working in the offices who aren't down to the usual standard of DVLA wonk.

I had 2 tax reminders in 1 envelope. I thought there was a mistake with them wanting £16 for 12months on my car! Sad Bastards got my hopes up!
