 |

Basically last year I bought my iPhone 4 off a friend who was on Vodafone. Obviously the phone is now locked to Vodafone and as I'm changing to giffgaff I need it unlocked.
I phoned up Vodafone as I'm already a Vodafone contract customer and have been for a while and was told that I needed to get the original owner to do the unlock and that I couldn't do it. Unfortunately said old owner is now living in Thailand probably getting her back door smashed in by the other post uni layabouts off travelling and no one has really had contact with her for ages. I tried filling in the online Vodafone form using her details but it came back with an IMEI database error.
So now I'm stuck. Vodafone won't unlock it. Previous owner can't unlock it for me. There isn't a current Jailbreak unlock that works.
Options? Anyone know of a reliable site that would do it for me and that uses the official apple methods? All the ebay sellers that offer it seem to want original owners details as well so I don't want to spunk money down the drain on them either.
Please help BCF
(Alternatively anyone want to buy a locked to Vodafone iPhone 4 16GB Black ) ____________________ '89 Honda NS125F (SOLD) -> '92 Suzuki GS500E (SOLD) -> '03 Kawasaki ZX6R B1H (SOLD) -> '96 VFR 750 RC36 (SOLD) -> '02 Honda CBR1100XX Blackbird |
