Been floating around here for a while but found almost every question answered with the search, I was inspired by the 'What are you listening to thread?' and swapped the earplugs for an ipod...

Gimmie Shelter has left me with brown pants and a bent footpeg and the feeling that I may be the luckiest bloke alive!!

So what songs don't you trust yourself to listen to?

Freebird by Lynrd Skynrd and The Book Of Thel by Bruce Dickinson. Crashed after listening to both of those.

I really like 'gimmie shelter' on the bike and 'freebird', although they're not really commuting stuff more 'long ride at night' stuff.

Bad stuff is just stuff that's too aggressive for the situation i guess. Personally i don't usually need more winding up when doing city traffic with rush-hour cagers Rolling Eyes

I was riding on the motorway when the battle of Britain theme cam on the ipod. All of a sudden I thought I was a spitfire pilot and all the German cars were the enemy.

I zoomed up behind them firing an imaginary machine gun and pretended they blew up before moving onto the next.

The Awesome INFI

Followed closely by Lasagna Man by the same artist.

Jazz inspired metal. The guy and I learnt how to play guitar together - he's a bit better than I am!

I have a song hidden on my ipod that is 3 times louder than all the other songs, it hurts my ears, and I hate it. It always comes during my ride and I can't do anything about it and have to endure!! I don't know what it's called and everytime I get home I forget about it being on there.

I have tried to play every song on my ipod to see if I can get rid of it but I just can't bloody find it!! Evil or Very Mad

I'm wiping the Ipod this weekend and starting again.

I undertook a van once, turning right at a cross roads doing 40mph+ listening to Slipknot – Wait and bleed, the whole 20 minute journey up until then had been pretty wild.
An old woman pulled out from behind the van and I grabbed all the front brake I could. The bike went down hard and I hit the car door as my scrambler hit the front axle of the car and destroyed it.
Apparently, from the three girls I rode past, I hit the car door, flipped in the air, my shoes came off and then I hit the floor, lying motionless.
My walkman was still running, it was now on a mad slow guitar solo as I looked up at the sky, people all around me trying to say stuff.

Slipknot, Never again.

Ride of the Valkyries, or 633 Squadron for me. Expect I'm in a Hurricane or an SE5a.
